Project Overview:


Profit & Lattes: Home of the Menopausal Entrepreneur is evolving to better support mid-life women entrepreneurs navigating all stages of menopause. To align with our rebrand and expanded offerings, we are looking for students to redesign and optimize our website to improve functionality, user experience, and brand alignment.


Our website is currently hosted on FEA Create (a white-labeled version of Wix). This project will focus on revamping the site structure, incorporating new resources, and enhancing usability, all while ensuring branding consistency and a seamless user experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for students to work on a real-world website transformation, incorporating design, UX, branding, and content strategy.


Project Objectives:

  1. Rebranding & Visual Update – Align the website with Profit & Lattes' new focus on menopausal entrepreneurs while maintaining brand guidelines.
  2. Site Expansion & Content Integration – Add and optimize key new sections, including a blog, book lending library, resources hub, and online courses/webinars.
  3. User Experience & Navigation Enhancement – Improve site structure, responsiveness, and usability for an intuitive user journey.

Bonus Opportunities:

  1. Automation & Workflow Enhancements – Recommendations for integrating forms, email sign-ups, and customer journeys.
  2. Lead Capture Optimization – Implement strategies for converting visitors into engaged subscribers or clients.
  3. Analytics & Performance Tracking – Set up basic Google Analytics and website tracking tools.
Deliverables

Student Tasks & Activities:


1. Website Revamp & Rebranding

  • Conduct a website audit to assess current design, structure, and performance.
  • Update visual elements, fonts, colors, and branding assets to align with our refined brand identity.
  • Ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience that reflects Profit & Lattes’ mission and values.

2. New Feature Implementation

  • Blog Integration – Set up and optimize a blog for easy content management and SEO-friendly publishing.
  • Book Lending Library – Implement a section where users can browse, request, and engage with recommended books.
  • Resource Hub – Develop a structured resource library with templates, guides, and financial/business tools.
  • Online Classes & Webinars – Add an area for hosting and promoting on-demand courses, live webinars, and paid workshops.

3. SEO Optimization & Content Strategy

  • Improve on-page SEO for better search visibility.
  • Develop SEO-friendly page structures and integrate relevant keywords into content sections.
  • Optimize images, headers, and metadata for faster loading speeds and search ranking improvements.

4. User Experience & Mobile Optimization

  • Improve navigation and menu structure for an intuitive user experience.
  • Ensure responsive design so the site looks and functions seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Test site performance, accessibility, and user flow to enhance engagement.

5. Final Testing & Recommendations

  • Conduct user testing and provide feedback-based refinements.
  • Document website updates and create a simple user guide for ongoing management.
  • Present final website improvements and recommendations for future scalability.
