Details

Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan is seeking to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of its donor database managed on DonorPerfect. The current database contains some updated and inconsistent data, which can hinder effective donor communication and fundraising efforts. The goal of this project is to clean up the existing donor database by identifying and correcting errors, removing duplicates, and standardizing data entries. Additionally, the project aims to develop streamlined processes for future data entry and management to ensure ongoing data integrity. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of data management and process improvement in a real-world setting. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners from academic programs such as business administration or information technology, ideally with some prior CRM experience, within a timeframe of under 60 hours.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a cleaned and updated donor database on DonorPerfect, with errors corrected and duplicates removed. Additionally, a comprehensive process guide for data entry and management will be developed to ensure consistent and accurate data handling in the future. The guide will include step-by-step instructions and best practices for maintaining data integrity. The deliverables will be presented in an easy-to-read report, summarizing the improvements made and recommendations for ongoing database management.
