There’s no better environment to learn and grow than alongside a team as warm, brilliant, and cohesive as AHF’s. From the start, it was clear that the team genuinely cares, not just about your contributions, but about you as a whole person. Their mentorship and feedback is intentional and they welcome and celebrate new ideas. Through this project, I gained a practical understanding of strategic planning, from learning how to move from high-level frameworks to building concrete, implementable ideas. I also became familiar with tools like Miro to support co-creation in ways that are both structured and adaptable. Being part of a process that centered strategic priorities while remaining grounded in community needs helped me see how intentional strategy planning can drive impact without compromising values.
